Our staff is highly trained in all aspects of Ducati service and repair, including performance modifications, routine maintenance, and optimizing your motorcycle’s capabilities. The Boulder Motor Sports service experience includes the accessibility of each member of the service staff to provide you with the technical guidance needed to ensure your motorcycle receives the care it deserves with a friendly smile.
Meet the team

Brian Sharp
With 15 years as a motorcycle service specialist, 13 years as a Ducati Certified Technician (including one AMA Pro Thunder Championship) as well as being the Project Leader for Boulder Motor Sports Racing Division, Brian has the mechanical background and technical knowledge that provides the expertise behind the service staff at Boulder Motor Sports. Brian was born and raised in Boulder and has been on motorcycles since he was 8 years old. These days, in his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family camping and visiting with his family at their lake house in Michigan. Together with his wife Kim, he has three children, Josh, Kaitlyn and Ezra. More than anything, Brian enjoys sharing the service facility with each and every Ducati customer. He has proudly built a shop with a performance-driven, race inspired atmosphere. The Ducati brand holds a strong passion for him and Brian cannot wait to see Boulder Motor Sports continue to grow and share the experience with other Ducatisti.
J.P. Wallace
J.P. was born in Oklahoma, but grew up on the East Coast before moving to Colorado in 1992. After a 3 year stint in England and a few years back East, he returned to Colorado. J.P. has been working on Ducati's since 1997, when he owned his first ST2. He has been doing it professionally since 2001 and became Certified in 2003. He has an extensive background in high-end bicycles which inspired him to work on the finest Ducati motorcycles. J.P. has been a part of the Boulder Motor Sports team since 2007 and exemplifies the Boulder Motor Sports attitude and customer care. Things get done right the first time and he enjoys sharing his expertise with each and every customer. Keep your eye out for J.P. on his 2005 Monster 1000s and if your on your bike, go ahead and join him for a ride!
Brian McMahon
Brian is no longer the newest member of Boulder Motor Sports, thanks to the shop dog "Desmo". Since moving to Colorado via California, he has enjoyed meeting many people he calls family. Like most enthusiasts, Brian has been riding since a young age. He bought his first bike at the age of 12, a Suzuki RM500. Brian is Ducati certified and enjoys sharing his Ducati knowledge and passion with each and every Boulder Motor Sports customer. When he's not taking care of your machines, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching his daughter grow up.
Kim Sharp
Kim was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Arkansas in high school, where she met Brian and the rest, as the say, is history. Kim is an integral part of the Boulder Motor Sports team as she keeps the front of the shop running smoothly so that the service staff can focus on doing what they're here to do, service your bikes. In addition to running the day-to-day business at Boulder Motor Sports, Kim runs the day-to-day business of the Sharp family. Between Boulder Motor Sports and her kids' school and extracurricular activities, Kim stays very busy. But just like everyone at Boulder Motor Sports, she takes pride in helping you have the best experience possible.
Desmo
Desmo is a close family member to Kim and Brian Sharp. He visits the BMS workshop everyday and greets each and every customer in an enthusiastic Toy Poodle kind of way. He especially loves the "Dirty Brown Truck" (aka UPS ) when they make their daily deliveries with boxes full of incoming performance parts. We think Desmo is trying to tell us to to hurry-up and open the boxes and bring the wonderful products to each and every BMS customer. Some of his favorite pastimes are playing with bugs, gnawing on rocks and laying in the afternoon sun. Desmo looks forward to meeting each and every one of you.
